HoldMyStory research
A Photograph Keeps a Face. A Story Keeps the Person Behind It.
Why HoldMyStory is beginning its audience research with the voices, recipes and everyday stories families never want to lose.

The recipe nobody wrote down. The story behind an old photograph. The laugh you recognise instantly. These are ordinary fragments, but together they can carry the character of a parent or grandparent in a way a name and date never could.
HoldMyStory is researching a thoughtful way to safeguard those memories. We are listening before deciding what to build, because the human value matters more than rushing technology into a sensitive part of family life.
One audience within a universal idea
Parents and grandparents are one important starting point, not the definition of HoldMyStory. The wider idea is for anyone who wants to safeguard a loved one’s memories—or preserve their own story for others—including partners, friends, families living apart, people recording traditions and those remembering someone who has died.
Research before product claims
HoldMyStory is still at the research stage. The current Founding Storykeepers Waitlist accepts broad preferences only. It does not accept memories, recordings, photographs, documents or payment, and it makes no promise of permanent storage, security, future delivery or a launch date.
The first questions are practical: which forms of memory matter most, what would make people trust a service like this, and where consent, ownership, access, export and deletion controls must be strongest.
- Which stories or formats would families value most?
- What must be true before somebody would trust the service?
- How should control remain with the people whose memories are involved?

HoldMyStory is the human-facing heart of the idea. VerisAI is intended to remain the quiet structure behind it—helping organise trust and decision rules without becoming the story people are asked to buy.
