TheWorkingGM, HoldMyStory and VerisAI address very different problems. One helps hospitality operators improve control. One is being developed to help people preserve meaningful stories and memories. One is an early-stage trust and provenance concept intended to work behind the scenes.

The connection is not a shared product. It is a shared principle: useful systems should make responsibility clearer, protect the people affected by a decision and be honest about what they can and cannot do.

TheWorkingGM: trust through visible standards

Hospitality teams work best when expectations are clear. A fair rota, an accurate handover, a costed menu and a named owner for an open action are not paperwork for its own sake. They make the working day more predictable and give managers evidence for better decisions.

That is the purpose of TheWorkingGM: practical operating tools for hotels, restaurants, pubs and accommodation businesses. The products focus on labour, profit, stock, standards and accountability because those controls affect both the commercial result and the experience of the people doing the work.

Respect for staff and financial acumen belong together. A business that understands its labour demand, menu contribution, waste and cash position can make clearer decisions. It has a stronger basis for protecting hours, maintaining equipment, training people and explaining why a change is necessary.

HoldMyStory: trust when memories involve more than one person

HoldMyStory is being developed around a universal human need: safeguarding the voices, stories, photographs, videos, messages, recipes and traditions that help people understand those they love—and preserving our own story for the people who matter to us.

The audience is deliberately broad. It includes parents and grandparents, partners and friends, families living far apart, people recording family history, people preparing messages for future milestones, separated parents, and those preserving the memory of someone who has died.

The difficult part is not simply storing a file. Memories can include other people, private experiences and material that should not be shared automatically. Consent, identity, dignity and release rules therefore have to come before convenience. HoldMyStory remains at the research and development stage; it should not claim finished storage, security or delivery capabilities before they exist.

VerisAI: a trust layer, not a loud consumer brand

The intended role of VerisAI is quieter. It is the early-stage trust concept behind responsible digital-legacy work: provenance, verification, consent and a clear record of what was provided, by whom and under which permissions.

That direction is still being developed. It would be wrong to describe VerisAI as a finished verification platform, make security guarantees or imply compliance status that has not been established. The immediate work is to define the safeguards and prove the need before making technical promises.

Commercial discipline is part of responsible building

Kindness without financial understanding can produce good intentions that the business cannot sustain. Financial control without kindness can reduce people to a cost line. Sound leadership needs both: the acumen to understand the numbers and the respect to explain decisions, listen to operational reality and avoid solving every problem by pushing more pressure onto staff.

The same discipline applies to new ventures. Validate demand before building expensive features. Describe the current stage accurately. Do not accept sensitive material before consent and privacy rules are ready. Do not advertise outcomes that have not been demonstrated.

What these ventures will publish

  • TheWorkingGM will publish practical hospitality operations guidance tied to real management decisions.
  • HoldMyStory will publish thoughtful, consent-sensitive guidance about preserving stories and memories.
  • VerisAI will publish careful work on provenance, verification, consent and responsible digital-legacy technology.

The subjects are different, but the standard is the same: be useful, be specific and do not pretend the work is further advanced than it is.
